The King in Winter II - Original Pencil Drawing $79.00 $99.00
This is an original graphite (pencil) illustration on archival drawing paper. The circular area of the image is 8 inches in diameter. It ships unframed (but protected) in a flat reinforced envelope. Note: This particular drawing has a small wrinkle in the lower left side. However, I really like this picture and want you to have it, so I've included a small discount. I began a series called "King in Winter and Other Stories" in the winter of 2023-24. This pencil study was one of the first images I created, and I really liked the sense of tranquility that emanates from it.

The Master of the Sea - Canvas Print from $195.00
This painting, "The Master of the Sea," is a dramatic depiction of the moment Jesus calmed a raging storm with a simple rebuke. You can find the story in three of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) and we also see this delightful reference in Psalm 107:28-3128 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!I named this painting after a hymn called "The Master of the Sea" which my church's congregation loves to sing. My hope is that it brings you a daily reminder of the peace that only Christ can bring in times of trouble.

The Story of The Prodigal Son's Return Home from the Gospel of Luke A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, "Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me." And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, "How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! "I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants." And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son." But the father said to his servants, "Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found." A Contemporary Interpretation of the Prodigal Son This painting of the love between a Father and son is one of my favorites, and it hung over my sofa for quite a long time. The landscape was inspired by the Appalachian farming communities where I live, but of course the story is derived from the Gospel. There are many hidden symbols in this painting that support the story, such as the contrast between the barren land of Sin and the lush green land of Redemption.

Unique Christian Wall Art

I still remember when a friend of mine said, "I can walk into someone's home and tell right away if they're a Christian."

Of course, it's not just about choosing Christian wall art, but also about how we welcome people into our lives, and how we use our homes and our lives as a witness to the power of the Gospel.

The purpose of my art is to help you express who you truly are, and to uplift you, your family and your friends every time one of you walks in your front door.
